The National Code of Conduct for German Universities Regarding International Students is meant to contribute to this. The signatory institutions commit to providing international visitors with good guidance and special assistance before and during their studies. The Code of Conduct regulates how international students are informed about study opportunities, how the admission process works and the kind of technical, linguistic, and social support they can expect. The voluntary declaration of commitment universities have made, defines common quality standards for international students.
